G'day from Perth Australia

Post by phantom_270 »

Hello Fellow Tankers!

I'm Phil, from Perth, Australia.
I recently got a job in a hobby store over here, and I thought I would buy something with my first paycheck.
I thought about a car, but everyone has a car, or a plane, and I am an aviation guru, but they are too easy to crash.
So I decided on an R/C Tank. I've never heard of anyone having one, and what can you crash a TANK into?!

Being an avid World of Tanks player (Playername: phantom_270 :D), I was quite keen. I looked for a Tiger II, but they didn't have one, so I settled on a Heng Long Tiger I.

I have to say, it is quite awesome, and I have since bought another battery, and a smart, and quicker charger.

Since playing WoT, I have started a great interest in tanks, and I would love to learn more about them.

So that's my story,

Ciao!

Thanks.

I have seen a few metal parts out there, and I will probably get a gearbox, drive sprockets, and tracks, to make it more durable :D
