I am a n00b to all this, and it would be really helpful to have one. I've lost count the amount of times I have had to Google some abbreviation or term, and with the memory of a goldfish, I often re-google them.

Would it be possible please to have a thread for a glossary?

abbreviations mainly. dmd for example. People are often writing things like HL, IR etc (okay, i've worked out what those are, but other n00bs may not).
