I'm sitting in my Office working (remotely), looking at the smaller scale RC Tanks I have sitting around as decor and my eye fell on my Takara 1\144 Porsche turreted King Tiger. This little beauty is controlled by a unit that looks like a scale stellhandgranate that uses IR to communicate with the tank.. For a couple of years now I have been looking for the replacement rubber tracks for this tank. I even went so far as to attempt to learn and speak a few phrases in Japanese to communicate with their headquarters in Japan (because the American contacts all threw up their hands). It occurs to me that one of you erudite gentlemen may have one of these or run across this question before. Anyone know where to get 1/144 scale flexible rubber tracks for a King Tiger? The tank's batteries charge up and the drive wheels turn and clicker clutch works. Just need tracks. In other news, I have set aside this weekend to finally finish up the HL King Tiger. I'm going to lock the one suspension arm in place and complete the build. When Forge Bear gets the HL suspension arms in in metal, I'll swap them all out then.
Achtung! Panzer!

Re: Friday Tank Musing
Tuesday morning and nothing accomplished tank-wise. Mate fell ill and missed work Friday so I played Nurse all weekend. *chuckles* Well, some good will stored up at least, eh? (For when it comes time to purchase that RC Halftrack) Here's hoping this coming weekend is more productive tank-wise.
