Setting up a tamiya DMD T05 problem

Post by The Tank Man »

Hi guys I've just got a second hand tamiya Sherman full option tank I'm trying to set up the transmitter I got with it the transmiter is a hi tec laser4 now when I press the reset button on the DMD I'm only getting two flashing orange lights! And a hi pitch sound from the speaker I'm thinking the DMD is faulty unless I'm doing something wrong! Any ideas would be good befor I go and buy a new DMD unit :S

No experience with the Tamiya, but have you check the obvious like batteries are charged, wires fully plugged in. Tried turning it off and back on.

Hope not for you. Another option is try another tx/rx set to see if the laser reciever is at fault.

Hey mate have you tried switching switch 1 across to self check system and it will tell you what is wrong by lights on it flashing different colours and a certain pattern. If you going to Tamiyausa.com and go to the tanks go down to the Tiger 1 down the manual and its on page 32 and 33 sorry tried to copy the pages but not that clever .

Hope this helps
