how to remove track guards

how to remove track guards

hello i broke all of the guards on the left side of my early tiger and would like to now how would be a good way of removing or repairing them. im new to all of this and was thinking of trying of fabricateing them with thin gage .030 steel any help or idea would be great thanks.

Thanks Saxondog for the info. i will most likely start a hl build post when i start to figure out what and how to atack this tank. this is all new to me and i have not done models since i was a boy. im a custom metal fabricator and hope to use some of it in to this tank. thanks again. Frank

Metal fenders would be a fine addition, Hope it works out and if you are able to fabricate the fender do post some pictures.
