Just got to ask, since I need the answer due to my plans. I don't own a Tamiya Pershing, but I'm considering it.
The battery is located down in the lower hull.
I know about modification can make you just store the battery down there and charge it in the tanks, but I'm not interested in that.
I got several batteries and I need to run them all so that I don't ruin any of my batteries.
Then comes the question:
Do you have to remove turret and cables first, then upper hull to be able to switch battery on a Pershing?

thanks for reply.
So it's just 4 screws like the ones on page 25 and off goes the upper hull??

No, if you have the side fenders on you got to take those off too has they cover the screws that hold the top hull on. I personally take the turret off to swap out batteries.
