Maxmekker's Tamiya King Tiger

Post by maxmekker »

So finally the KT is on it's way. Not new but little usage and indoore driven. So this is maybe not a build tread, but I will post any upgrade etc.

I was hoping to have it here this week, but it's comming next tuesday, so to shorten the wait I started this tread. I thought about giving it a make over, I like the 3 tone soft camo, But the looks of it is growing on me now.
Rear pipes needs fixing. On the way are eto gearbox brace , idler upgrade , torret rollers and turnigy chip. But I know little of the cosmetic look's of the late war KT, so I could use some help

So any info and tips and tricks to shorten my wait is most welcome.
thanks for looking.

Certainly looks the part. Is it a Tamiya full options ? I shall await your updates and look forward to seeing your progress with it.
Tamiya King Tiger (no options)
Taigen Full Metal T34 (winter)
Heng Long Challenger II (European camo')

First problem to fix. The belt is binding one one side. Will have to pop open the tension to have a look. Also the recoil motor will not work, so I have to check that one to.
