Bovington Sherman

Post by FireflyKeith »

Just come across this on the net apparently this is one of Bovington Tank Museums battle re-enactment days and they are simulating a sherman being hit, but hey they dont do things by halves do they, if i was that commander  i would be throwing myself over that fence by now, but apparently no body was injured and the sherman only had minor paint damage. With the pyro used on the Sherman you will find that it's all flame and smoke and all that would have happened to the Sherman was it had a black sooty mark, a recent reenactment event that I was attending they placed some of these charges on a bridge to simulate it's destruction latter you could hardly see where they had been placed will post a link to the film when I get a chance
They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

I don't think that would fly here in the States. To many legality issues. Great pic though. Makes a great show better.
You have nothing to fear, but fear its self. Or maybe a KT too!
