New to RC Tanks from New Jersey

Post by jordanpeugeot »

Hello all, my name is Brian. I have no prior experience but I finally took the plunge. Not much of a builder, I got the tanks to relax from the daily grind.

Haven't had a chance to play yet. Sent everything to my father's place. Don't think the missus will be too keen! I purchased a Torro KT Pro metal Edition & an HL Pershing metal upgrade and tracks from Kin at Tankzone. Also picked up an HL Tiger 1 w/metal upgrade & tracks. All three fire plastic BB's.

I'm not wealthy,so please don't misunderstand. I can see how easy it is to get sucked into this. I can't believe how much I've spent and there's still a ton of upgrades out there just calling to me.

Guess I should play for awhile then make changes slowly. I'm gonna have questions so I'll appreciate any help.
Thanks.

Hi and welcome Brian.

I can understand why you got the kit to your dads place. :haha: I get most of my bits sent to work so my mrs doesn't know how much i'm spending. 8O

Yeah get goinging with playing with them that will get you going with the upgrades but again you be like a kid in sweet shop. It never ends :shifty:

But all great fun.

Welcome Brian,
I see you have started off with a couple of nice tanks there, wont be long and you will be repainting them and upgrading everything.
I must be lucky my wife loves the tanks as much as me.
Cheers Ken
