How many channels?

Post by Herr Fritz »

Guten Tag!

How many channels are needed for the Tamiya system. Will a DX5 be ok?

I'm not going full IR Battle,
just using the Tamiya control units for a HL upgrade.

Danke!

Any 4 channel and up will work. I use a 2.4 dx7 as i have one laying around when my heli's are not using it. So just get what ever your pocket can afford. The more channels will give you more op's to make things move ,work.

Will this system work. I just got this info from my older Brother who swears on the Hobby King equipment for his Helo's and loves their prices...who wouldn't!

OOPS! This is what I meant to paste:

This is gotta be a great deal!! Now what do ya think?

The reviews tell me that its perfect for us Tankers as there seems to be some fail safe issues ...heck I would be worried to if my efforts and money was up in the air over 100 feet.

For the cost...why not?

Thats the one I run with my Tamiya Tanks its a little bit fidderly to get up and running plus the guy in our tank club has reflashed it to make it easier to set up for tanks but you dont need to do that too use it.

Again. That one will fit the bill for your needs.
