Panzer iv Turret Rear Bin Mods

Hi, Has anyone fixed the lid on the rear turret bin so that the gun will still move up and down, If so how is it done. I pick up one on EBay cheep and wish to improve it .
It is not the pace of life that worrys me, its the sudden stop at the end.

I'm not sure what you mean by fixed the lid ?, but if you want to open up the bin lid without the heng long elevation unit being seen then you can fit the Asiatam Recoil Unit.

he cut out the red part off the bin then replaced the lid, the problem is the heng long PZ IV bin is from their PZ III but it looks ok when if you cut it down a bit, the second pic is an actual PZ IV bin.

Hi I have a HL Pz.IV ausf.J final model build on hold at the mo . I lowered my rear bin slightly , not perfect . But theres a whole host of other alterations required on the HL Pz.IV to correct it.
