Hi guys, My question is simple, like me! space is getting tight in my Panzer IV, is removing the battery box a viable mod?
I can't thank you all enough as I am using a some of your tips on the electronics front so far.
Cheers

Re: Battery compartment removal on Panzer IV F1
I take it we are talking Hl Panzer IV. If so ..yes you can remove the battery holder with little ease. But the promble start by the way Hl hold the top deck (body) down with 8 screws.
So unless you want to leave out some. But still going to have to unscrew to remove the body. Or to mod the way the body is held down. May be a hinged method as an E.g.

Thanks, yes, sorry, it's an HL DAK Panzer IV,I will in due course look at a different closure method for the hulls should i go down that road. In the meantime I wil get the groundwork done first. Many thanks
