Tornado in Memphis

Post by Saxondog »

Hit us hard tonight 70 mph winds came out of the west, this is the bad thing about living here,Sirens all night, yes the air raid type, their on every public school and fire house in the city, one less than 1klm from my home. This sucks in the winter, hell it sucks all the time.

Keep your head down Sax, We had winds here in Scotland a few weeks back! they were recorded at over 100 miles an hour! We all just had our tea early in case the electric went out! lol.

Survival, Sorry for the late reply,Power outages accross the city and I had appointments today so travel was difficult.

Were ok here, just some damaged storm drains on my front porch, and the trash from another house in my front yard. This is not normal for Jan,At all, this weather rarely ever happens in the Winter. It was pretty wild because of the Super Cells, one minute the air just stops, dead calm, then bang 70mph wings pulling everything up into the air.

These are the cells that turn in to Tornadoes but even without touching down they have awesome power to destroy.
