Is it possible to get extension leads for the balance lead off a Lipo battery?
Just that I find them very short and once I put battery in a fire proof bag to charge it is impossible to plug into the charger. As it stands I’m having to leave the bag open and the battery end sticking out just so I can plug into the charger.
As these leads measure cell voltage I wasn’t certain if extending them effects the voltage reading which could mean over charging the battery.

Re: LiPo Balance Lead
I haven't come acrossed any.But what i have done or should say did,for mine. Was to cut the wires at about 1/2 way on the balance lead. This would lengthen the lead as your adding more wire.
But also it stops you having to keep pulling out the jack plug for that balance lead at the charger. As keep doing this will eventually give you a bad connection. As you know different brand of lipo.Needs different Balancing boards.
So Tb joint the wires up. When they go bad replace the joining connectors you used. As it cheaper to replace the ,than another charging unit.

Like you say Caddyshack, run the risk wearing out the socket on the charger so probably best to get an extension.
