Shooting Led

Post by supersaint »

I was just wondering what most people do when removing the shooting Led on the gun mantle, is it best to just fold it back inside the turret ,or to snip the wires and remove completely?.

Regards Colin.

I put it back in the turret, some times a push with a small rod from the outside is all that needed to move it back for fill the hole.
It is not the pace of life that worrys me, its the sudden stop at the end.

You can cut it off and the airsoft/recoil will still work as long as the two red wires joined to the resistor stays joined. Probably best to cover this point with some insulation tape or heat strink as this is positive supply and don't want it touching anything and blowing your your RX18.

Thanks for that, I will probably go for the easy option first, and then think about it later if I fit a recoil unit in the turret.
