ariel

Post by streetfighterjeff »

got the hl KT which arrived with a missing ariel. could i use a peice of brass wire around a foot long mounted on the true antenna base and then solder to the origional ariel wire? got the brass, about 1.5 mm i think so it would move like real and also bend and spring out of the way of the barrel. only thing is then, what sits where that brass antenna buton is.
only here for a good time, not a long time

I could be wrong but I believe that many Tigers did not have obvious external antenna's ......but what I have seen
is some folks adding looped wire inside around the most outside areas before the top section is mounted...there are a few ways to add custom internal antennas with using odd bits and pieces.

On that note in the future as you may be adding adding features, custom work and upgrades
to your tank finding a way to incorporate a lock in place at one end a one or two hidden screws from the top
will make gaining access to your Panzer's guts a lot easier in der future.

Hope that helps.
