Will this battery work?

Will this battery work?

Got a new battery and it is a dnyx 2000, 7.2v 2000 mAh NiMH battery by duratrax, number is DTXC2035, but Santa forgot the charger....Will the heng long charger work? And will it work with my non s&s pz III, it has a rx 13 ( I think)?
What will happen if I do this.....

It should work fine if it has a standard style Tamiya connector.

He's rite it should be fine there a guy on here Useing an 8 volt battery and he's had no probs ! :thumbup:

How long do I have to charge it?
What will happen if I do this.....

It depends on the rating of the charger.

Charge time is battery capacity divide charger rating.

For example a standard UK Heng Long charger is 400mA rating therefore a 2000mAh battery will be

2000 divide by 400 = 5 (hours)

But if your getting higher capacity batteries you should get a better charger which should be able to charge it quicker i.e. 2 hours.

I put it in, wow did it go faster then the stock bettery, it is amzing how a bettery can do so much to a tank.
What will happen if I do this.....
