Types of Building Roofs in Normandy

Post by Panzerpaul »

Do any of you tankers out there know for sure if there were tile type roofs on buildings in Normandy in 1944. I see lost of pictures of slate and wood shingles, and of course thatched ones in rural areas, but no solid evidence of the use of tiles (usually red or brown color). This type was prevalent in Italy, but I would like to use the style for some of FRAG's Normandy buildings if it is accurate. Thanks, PP

The French well hmmm...they just used garlic for most things . Oh they could have also used bits from their fleet after we sank them ;)
