Hi everyone,
i'm new to this tank scene, just got my son a heng long Tiger1 with smoke and sound ,also with metal tracks and gears, have to say what a great item it is.i think i would have been thrilled to have one of these ' when i were a lad '.
one of my best memories is of the evel knievel stunt bike my parents got me one christmas ,you had to wind it up on a special stand and then release it,it would go about 8ft and keel over! but i loved it until (like Evel) it didn't quite make it over a puddle jump i had set up(splosh) it filled with water and a couple of days later it was rusted solid.
lets hope my son (and myself) get more use out of it than old Evel.Although after reading a few reviews i think there will be a fair amount of maintenance and mid life upgrading to be done.
Anyway look forward to xmas day regards.
Hesh
