Asiatam proportional smoke unit

Post by thwobble »

Hi,
Just bought an Asiatam proportional smoke unit for my son's HL Tiger 1 and I need to know where the extra wires go. If anyone can send me a diagram or photo, I'd be most grateful.
Thanks!

Need connecting to the motors so when motors turn the smoker pumps more.

Not seen the asiatam unit but guess either 2 or 4 wires. If 2 connect one to each motor positive lead.

Hope that helps.

Hi Tankbear - Thanks for the reply. There's the RX connector and 4 more wires (2 red, 2 black), so I guess there's a + and - for each motor?

Yeah connect all four to the motors. Shouldn't matter which wire goes to which motor as it is only picking up the voltage to increase the smoker pump speed.

I have just done the same, bought some proportional smoke units to upgrade my fixed speed ones and found a diagram on another thread showing the red (+ve) wires going to the outer connectors and the black (-ve) wires going to the middle ones.
Hope that helps.
