bb firing RC problem

Opened my new Heng Long M26. However the bb gun will only fire when the right controller (turret controls) is pushed to betweem 10 and 11 o'clock, (pushing to 12 o'clock has no effect). resulting in the the turret only firing when turning left . What I take to be the trim bars are fixed on the turret controls and will not move. Any suggestions?

If you've another controller try swapping crystals and see if that solves it, that way proving if it's the controller or the reciever.
