Post by r32 »

SG Tankies (http://www.facebook.com/groups/240177046030283/) formed up in October 2011 and is a subsidiary club of SG Truckers (http://www.facebook.com/sgtruckers), a 1/14th scale model trucking club in Singapore. We had our first official game day and here are some of the highlights:

Hi r32,
Looks like you have some good looking tanks there......I like what appears to be the black Leopard on the back right of the group shot. I must admit that I have never seen an all black tank before but it is a very striking colour scheme...just looking at the small image I rather hoped that on the side of it was an Imperial German flag !!! .....and that they had finally dumped the yellow part !!! :haha: ....but I am sorry to say that I do not recognise the flag...might I be embarassed to ask it is Singapores flag ?? :{ :{

Hi Dietrich yes that's Singapore's national colours:

I believe it is painted overall in NATO black. Some of our armour is painted in pretty dark shades of green, but usually aren't this dark though.

Re: Game day #2

We had a great turnout yesterday, putting up 9 Tamiyas, 4 VS Tanks, 2 trucks and 9 players yesterday. Unfortunately the day was cut short by bad weather but we'll be back next month!
