HL Bulldog reciever problem BACK AGAIN!!

Post by Jason001 »

I thought I'd resolved my reciever problem on my Heng Long Bulldog, but it's back again :thumbdown:

On the bright side I have isolated the problem & it has nothing to do with the pins on the rx-18 board.

The problem is the wire or the motor for the tanks turret(up down, left right) if you disconect the plug for this than the tank travels for approx 40 foot, when connected it only travels for approx 7 foot.

I can only conclude its some kind of electrical interference(which was one of my first guesses)

Has anyone come across this before and know any solutions?

I'm going to try and fix it so the wire is as far away from the reciever board as possible & i'll let you know if that works!

SUCCESS :D

It's worked. All I did was fix the wire (the 2 pin wire that controls the up and down on the barrel)to the back of the tank on the hull and that seems to of done the trick (for now)!!

Sadly I think the whole drama was my fault!!
When I first took the tank apart I moved that wire and place it under the motor because I was afraid it would get caught in the gogs, but that route meant it travelled directly over the reciever board :{

O well I guess we live and learn!

Forget all of the above!! The problem was simply a dodgy reciever!
