Hooben Elefant

Post by twoup »

Hello All,

I am on the brink of ordering an Elefant it will be my third model in this scale. What I would like to get a handle on is what extra do you need and how much extra will the cost be? Can you make it function with H/L electronics which I have enough spares alraedy or do you have to use tamiya. Anyone help?

Hi,
I'm no expert but a quick google of the Hooben indicates that it will run with the HL electrics, or Tamiya, or Elmod. In fact whatever. From what I can tell it's dependent on your budget.

Right, long delay..... I have ordrered an elefant from steve at welsh dragon. i cant wait to start but would value anybody who has had a bash at one letting me know any quirks or pitfalls. I will prob put HL kit in it as that is all I can afford but I want to stretch to metal tracks, I don't feel they look right until they have metal tracks.
