HL Panzer III
Just wanted to show you guys my Panzer III that I have been working on. It was an Ebay bargain but I have since added metal tracks and gears and put on some Mato track adjusters. I have airbrushed parts of it to try and resemble a tank that has seen a bit of action. The ammo case was made out of some of the wooden coffee stirrers that I aquired whilst at work and the bed rolls used to be my handkerchief, both are ideas that i got from posts on this forum (thanks for the ideas it saved my money)
. I would like to attempt at making a aerial recognition flag next (fingers crossed that will work to). I am fairly new to doing modelling and weathering of tanks but I hope I have started off in the right direction.

Hi WoNnUt, :~
Nice paint job, and I hate to point this out...but Please can you remove the Red LED from the Mantle ? I think that they look dreadful on the Tanks.

Hi WoNnUt, :~
I should have asked you the last time, but please can you tell me what colour (s) did you use to create the dirty/dusty wheels and lower hull sides of the panzer III ? ..... it is a very nice effect....airbrushed on ??

Re: HL Panzer III
I first airbrushed on a coat of Humbrol enamel matt brown (No. 186) then once that had dried I oversprayed with a very weak mix of matt dark earth (No. 29). Thanks for the interest in my tank it's good to know that other people also think I did a good job for a first timer.
