Tamiya Leopard 1 A3 DK

Post by JBdk »

Hi... :wave:

I have started a build of a danish Leopard 1, it will be fitted with 2 speed transmissions from AFV and Graupner speed 400 motors to speed it up a little, since I think that it is to slow with the original motors... :thumbup:
The electronics will be Elmod the old version, with 4 modules... :thumbup:

I have been following yours build close...I would really like to know where you have bought the toolboxes on the side-fender or are they made up from scratch?

Cheers...

Hi Try these....

http://www.axels-modellbau-shop.de/kata ... 44_71.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.afv-model.com/4711shop/index ... ard-1.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.mmodell.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Type "leopard a4 1/16 modellbau" into google and look for images, you'll see a few interesting thing pop up.

I have just order the toolboxes from JT modellbau. I must say that guy is a great help, the boxes is normally from the Gepard and since I should use 4 of them he made me a good offer...
My fellow tanker has just ordered the moveable sideskirts from JT I am pretty sure that would be the next thing on my Leo when the money comes. ;)

How much did you pay? I could do with some myself. They weren't available when I made a big order from them.

I paid 45 eur with shipping to Denmark included...
Those I ordered was the number B23, they look like they will fit on a danish Leo...
I will post some pics when I get the boxes from Germany.

Well the toolboxes has arrived at the postoffice but they are closed when I get of from work... :/ maybe I will get a chance to pick them up in the weekend...
I have been of to work the last three weeks so the leo has been on hold, only things I have done is to give it its green base collour...and cut a piece of the sideskirts off, I don't know why the danish army have chosen to do that but all their Leo's has the last part of the skirt removed... ;)
