In 1916 the World War had ground into a stalemate[pop][/pop] and this battle would decide the outcome of the War at Sea which was up to this point an even stalemate.Several small fleet actions and a few might of been battles left the two side in a position of restraint.
But the Glorious 1ST of June would see that change as the aftermath of the greatest sea battle the world had ever seen, and the Greatest lose of life for British Tars ever recorded in the history of the Royal Navy. The battle-cruisers weakness exposed, and thousands of men killed as a result.
This is a very interesting battle,it changed the balance of power in a world before the ATOMIC AGE the Battleship ruled as the ultimate power for a nation, and in a world where the sun never set on the British Empire. The end of an age and the beginning of the end of the Battleship and it's 300 year rain supreme.

North Sea 1914–1918

The Battle of Jutland (German: Skagerrakschlacht; Danish: Søslaget ved Jylland / Søslaget om Skagerrak) was a naval battle between the Royal Navy's Grand Fleet and the Imperial German Navy's High Seas Fleet during the First World War. It was fought on 31 May and 1 June 1916 in the North Sea near Jutland, Denmark. The battle was the largest naval battle and the only full-scale clash of battleships in the war. It was also only the third major fleet action between steel battleships following the battles of the Yellow Sea and Tsushima during the Russo-Japanese War.
