Painting Chromatic Modulation

Post by magmer »

I don't know if this has been posted before but there is a great tutorial on painting and weathering a Ferdinand tank. The methodology is using a technique called Chromatic Modulation. This means that surfaces on the top of a vehicle are a lighter colour than at the lower surfaces due to the way light hits an object. The article also gives tips on weathering and wear.

When you click on the link go to Articles then Other. Ferdinand is top of the list by Mike Rinaldi
