Call me crazy...

Post by maintcoder »

but I just bought this Tiger off eBay - http://cgi.ebay.com/TAMIYA-1-16-KING-TI ... 2c5a230307" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I hope it arrives in perfect condition. It is exactly what I have been working toward with my kit. I'm a bit antsy to get some RC tanking in while I wait for the weather to warm up so I can paint the Tiger I'm working on. My plan is to get my wife to run this one once I get mine done. If I can hook her on RC tanking, then the 'tank garage' can easily grow! :D

Well that is something many have tried, my wife threw the Jagdpanther in the pool sinking the HMS Hood in the bargain. She does not play well. GOOD LUCK, cheers Blake

looking at the photos on ebay it looked like the radio was a 72mhz air radio. you will want to confirm it is running on a ground frequency.

Wow, you are absolutely right... I am going to change that immediately. It is a good thing I had a few upgrades to do to the tank, so I haven't run it other than in the house and the backyard for simple tests.
