Fellow Tankers,
Hello from a newby but aspiring tanker from the states.
I have a background in RC (cars, planes, helis (recently) ) and am very much interested in RC tanks.
I can not afford any of the Tamiya kits at the moment but am interested in either a HL King Tiger or a JagdTiger from HL or Motora <SP>?
I really do not know much more than what I have been reading lurking on the forums. I would really like a Tamiya KT with a JagdTiger conversion but certainly do NOT have that kind of cash right now. (damn economy!) Any easy way to do a convert or the like? 1/16 static kit perhaps?
Any advice is welcome...
Keep on Tanking!
JT

Welcome t the forum. Be careful. Even Heng Long can get expensive when you start upgrading. Basic Tiger is good value but make sure you have at least rx18 fitted. Build from there. A lot of parts can be made from scratch or modified. To do a really good conversion that you will be happy with you will end up going into Tamiya money. I was scared away from Tamiya as I knew I would end up upgrading that also.
