Very nice build. That is the NATO look I will go for too. What did you make your antennas from? What are you using for tracks?

I debated about lights, the re-release kit parts do not have head light/tail light clear lens (the instructions tell you to paint the one piece lamp - lens units the appropriate color), so I passed on that feature for this build, plus the Tiger DMD Units don't have a plug position for lights.

My build is purposed as a fun backyard runner, not a rc club battle model, but I did mount & hide an LED emitter in the big mantlet box in case plans change.

And I discovered the parts in this "new kit" are still dated Tamiya 1977, which effectively muddies the collector thing for the old A4 kit's for good or bad. Anyway the static kit in the USA was $360.00 including delivery, but excluding the RC & DMD parts.

Getting 30 days of furlough from the job gives you plenty of hobby time only spoiled by those endless honey do chores.

Beautiful work as always! Are you planning to attend Danville in April?

I would enjoy attending Danville, but this will probably will not be the year. A major family tragedy will keep me close to home, even though everyone knew what was coming, it was still a shock that our UK brother in law passed of a brain tumor right before Christmas and his pretty wife is not far behind with a different form of cancer. Now there is a little 9 year old nephew to watch over for a bit, until he is adjusted to his new environment. All that will keep me close to home this spring. But, eventually, I will bring the boy to Danville, he his becoming a pretty good TC with his 4th Armored Division Sherman Jiving Joan.

Good news.

I asked because you can have the plastic Leopard tracks that came with this kit if you pay the postage from California. The friend I am building this for wants metal tracks.

Mostly in primer now (not white washed). Added the skirts and the front fenders needed some minor shaping to fit.
