Cheers for the reply Ice, whats the advantage of screenwash, thanks, Malc.
Re: what do you thin acrylic paint with !
second screen wash, or windowlene it's the active ingredient that does the thinning not the water. Try a small test thinning with water and then glass cleaner, you'll see what we mean. The advantage is that it is readily available, cheap and does exactly the same job as the more expensive proprietary thinners, oh and it also smells nice when you're painting

I use screenwash on my acrylic paints but if you are using white use cheap vodka as the screen wash gives it a slight blue tint.

What ratio of paint to thinner do you chaps use? I have bought some black primer to start spraying my tank. Should I thin the primer down or will it airbrush on fine without any thinning?

hi , your looking to thin the paint to a consistancy of milk, and play with the pressures as some paints react differently , ie i use lifecolor paints and they seem to spray best at 8-10 psi
