Tiger 1 Mid Production White wash

Post by Dee »

Hi,

Please find attached pictures of my Tiger 1 Mid Production complete with
white wash and snow.
This is a Heng Long model that has been modified, weathered, accessorised
and had fake snow applied.
As you can see I also got the chance to try it out in the snow ;]

Awesome looking model!! The snow looks really good!!! Did you buy the barbed wire or make it?
Sorry to say but I always pick up on these things; if you can lengthen the barrel and make light covers it would look a little better, it does look fantastic as is though! :D

Thanks....I made the barbed wire. Found a website that showed you how to do it. I did know the barrel wasn't the correct length and also the hatch opens the wrong way but I wasn't that bothered. But thanks for pointing it out.

Not offended Dave ;] to speed the barbed wire twisting, attach one end of the wires and tape the other ends to a drill bit, then drill (slowly though) Hey presto ;]

I'm impressed, had to be alot of work to create that finish. Tiger does appear to of been driven through the Russian Winter.
