FIREFLY HYBIRD ...I HOPE

Post by mcevoyi »

hi all

not been up to much of late but to day finaly picked up some plastic .. and got back in to doing things ... the misses knew i did not want to dothe usual sunday crap of garden center for lunch .. so nobed of with that ..... so sunday set .... model time !

i started a month or more back on a hybird hull biut christmas put paid to modelling as such ... strange ..as had a bit of time on my hands but some one ... kept filling it up with things i realy did not want to do

any way .. i am back .... and thing planed ...
must get my finger out ...and do stuff

no where near finished .. need to do the loaders hatch ... and piles of detail ..... its a canadian hybird so there will be a few detail differences ... which should make foe a few points of conversation .... the first will be the storage box usualy found on the back of the turret radiobox ..is often fitted on top of the radio box ....

Thats really nice. Sometimes its a shame to sling paint on them. It hides what you've worked on.

i had tp remove about 2mm from each side of the mato hull . the parts the cover above the tracks .. that have the screw holes
for fitting the mato hull .... then a perfect fit

What another Firefly !!!!...Only kidding, nice work so far mc' keep us updated, Never understood why they made a hybrid seems like a lot of work to get pretty much the same tank. Must be an advantage to the cast front hull.
You going to do the suspension mod ?
