I'm new to this and am looking for my first tank?

Hi all,
I'm just getting into this RC Tank thing and now I am wondering what tank I should buy. I am interested in buying a Heng Long Tiger/King Tiger or Panther . Seems as I have just started I am looking for something under or around £100. I have found 2 already but would like to know what you guys think and any recommendations/links you have.

I believe both are the same tank, Heng Long. Both Smoke and Sound versions, which is what you want. Other than that, I cant really tell you much, Im new here too, welcome aboard though. The pros will be with you shortly.

hi george , welcome to the forum , first of i would recommend forgebear hes a great bloke and gives a great service,

second the hl tiger is good but needs some work to make it a great runner, where as the new hl panther is a good one straight from the box as is the hl panzer III,

Yep, have to agree the HL Panther is a great out of the box tank, and if you buy from Dave (Forgebear) im sure all his tanks come with metal gearboxes, and i know they come with a great service He is a member here, maybe PM him for more details.
