A simple easy free video editing software??

Hello all

I have loaded some free ware called jumpcut, but it does not seem to want to handle my 1.6 gig of video! Is this just a rediculas size to try to load for any video program? And if it is ,,, How do I cut it down if I cannot get it into a video program to edit it down?

hey, have you got windows movie maker or is that just in the uk ?

I am loaded on the computer and loading the video now!

yeah with windows movie maker, just import the video, then you can jump through the video in the timeline, and hit the cut button to split the video, then you cat cut at another point and delete imbetween, so as deleting parts you dont want,

after you click the save movie as button, and selct a file type, some will save as smaller sizes, hit one of those if you want is smaller!

i got to agree with matt, windows movie maker is a good program, you can even use it to age youre video, i've done it to a couple of clips, dead cool
