Hi Carlo,
I have one hidden in the turret of my Tiger 1, it transmits to a 7" screen mounted on the RX transmitter. Great fun and gives you an edge in battles, unfortunately the screen has packed up at the moment.

Hey sparks,I am also interested in this modification. Please post the system assembly you used, how it is viewed(real time or playback) and is the shock of driving difficult to the focus of the camera?

Thanks Saxondog

Hi,

I've had one in the mantlet of my 1/8 Panther for years now. It gives me a gunners eye view and there is a separate transmitter for it. I can also fit an Archos PVR into the hull to record the images.
Problem is - if I can't see the tank its very difficult to drive it using the camera because I can't tell when the turret is pointing forwards!

Peter, I have an 1/6 scale Tiger. I was interested in the camera idea for that tank and mounting it in the drivers vision slot. Any information on where to purchase. I've searched the web and their are many systems available. Any guidance would be helpful. cheers Blake

Hi Carlo and Blake,
I will try to dig out the info at the weekend, it did have its own battery supplies, one P9 for the camera that was in the tank and another pack that powered the TV. Some vibration problems as I recall but not too bad.
