Greeks Defeat Italian 9th Army

November 22,1940 The Italian 9th Army is defeated by the Greeks. This situation will have far reaching effects on the eventual outcome of the Axis powers war effort. This effort by the Italian armed forces completely disrupts the German timetable for their most ambiguous plan Barbarossa. This is not the only time the Italians weak plans have effected the German Planning.
