Hi, Heng long are good to start with and cheap. The upgrade possibilities are endless and can become expensive. I like all the big german tanks. Not happy with the small panzers like the 111. Metal tracks sprockets and idlers are good and make sure it's fitted with rx18. Tamiya are the best but are expensive and in kit form and I would still want to upgrade.

Welcome to the forum Sir! A friend of mine has a basic Panzer IV no upgrades at all and hasn't had any trouble. We operate on a lot of rough terrain and grades.
