Very Rare Tiger Complete

Post by torpedochief »

Friends,

This is my model of TIGER 300 of the 503rd in 1943. It was a very early Mid-Production Tiger. It featured a cupola that seems to have been backwards. The hatch swings to the front vise the side. This Tiger is also missing the bar of armor that covered the binocular gun sight. Although fitted with the later engine it still maintained a rear mounted track tool box. This was a lot of research, but I am happy with the outcome.

Enjoy!

Don

I agree, this is a different Tiger for sure. The track cables have a device in front of where the cables bolt to the hull, what are they?

Those are the biggest pain in the butt. S-Mine discharger's. Everything loves to snag them ad tear them off. Most of the real Tigers that had them show them bent broken smashed. The crews did not much care for them either.

Learned something new, these are on my Tiger but their are 6 and they are on the Turret sides. I just never realized their were other mounting positions.
