Just Bought this on E-bay 1/12 scale Panther

Post by 971wright »

Hi Guys Just bought this on E-bay,http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Might not be 1/6 scale but it is bigger than our normal tanks ,for the price I thought it was worth a punt even if its not total suitable for R.C(wont know till it arrives). should make a nice Shelf Queen.

Hi It arrived today ,take a look at the photos ,It is alot bigger than a 1/16 see it side by side,Its a little like a boat kit ,will take a bit of modifing changing the wood parts for metal (aluminium) the sprockets and tracks are wierd how they have built them, but It may work .see the build instructions the last photo very sparse to say the least, just like model boat plans, designed for belt drive but can fit gearboxes,it will be a long winter project,

Hey Pete, this seems like a totally different type of kit, the description read a wooden lower hull? Is this correct? Also the Brand was stated as "battle tank" is this correct? If not could you post the brand as I would like to research their kits for other tanks? Keep the pics coming,
