Schwim & Kublewagon with crew

Post by Panzerman »

Had these kits for a while unfinished due to other distractions they had been collecting a bit of dust.
The kuble is Tamiyas RC and the Schwim Eduards kit which I think is no longer in production. Pity it's
a fiddly kit but goes well with 1/16th tanks.

These chaps are Verlinden's Kublewagon crew who have jumped ship! (scuse the pun)

Bit of detail, twin MG42s which can be removed.

Tamiy's RC Kublewagon, made the drivers sleeves long using some putty, and gave her a Verlinden
radio in an attempt to hide the rc aerial.

Hi xrad,

The Tamiya Kuble wagon is pretty simple, suspension is the give in
the rubber of the tyres, as in none! Steering is a simple servo type
thing but not proportional. Read somewhere people have changed
this set up with a proper servo for steering and a speed controller
for proportional forward and reverse. Can't see that this would be
too hard but wonder if it is worth it.

Will take some pics of the internals of the Kuble soon.

Nice vehicles and nice pics I have these two as well and I think they look great with the tanks in the background.
