My Lucky day !!!!!!

Hello everyone just wanted to share my good fortune with you all ( show off lol ). My Dad has decided to move away from 1/16 scale tanks and has GIVEN me all his unwanted Tamiya, H/L and Bandia stuff. I am now the proud owner of a full option Tamiya King Tiger just needing RC gear, a Heng long Tiger 1 non working at the moment but with all the bits to do it up and last but not least the Bandia Tiger 1 and Stug 4. The Tiger 1 is almost ready to run just needing H/L electronics. The Stug needs finishing, painting and then H/L electronics so my winter projects list has just grown by about 200%. Might have to look at thinning my collection down a little as the wife shorted a fuse when I told her there were 4 more tanks arriving soon ( not to mention the 2 OTHERS I’d picked up at Swindon and have yet to let her know about ). So as a tankaholic it’s been a great week for me. This means I can do a couple of rebuild threads on the forum over the winter months. All the best for now.

No Sax mate it's the "production" turret. To be honest I can't wait to get them myself lol. Just have to put an extra shelf up so they have somewhere to live. All the best for now

Cant see how women can complain. I have 1 and it seems I'm lucky to have that. My girlfriend was 4 years old when it was bought in 1978 ( I got the tank very young too). I only met her 2 years ago. It was my birthday yesterday and I unwrapped a parcel from my parents containing a turret bearing, pot of silver paint, mesh for the turret basket and two small bearings for the gun elevation. You see parents understand (should never have left home 23 years ago). Atleast I don't like football and going down the pub (not that I'm saying that is a bad thing).

I've been married to my dear wife for 30 years so I know how women can complain lol. You will find in time you will come to understand this phenomenon my young Jedi. You may also learn as I have how to overcome this by applying liberal amounts of love ,attention and expensive presents at Christmas and Birthdays in order to build a LARGE reserve of browine points before you get any new toys for yourself. The GOLDEN rule for understanding almost all women is to remember that everything you say's or do is WRONG ( only joking girls honest ) then you can't go far wrong. You could also try the reverse psychology thing by saying you would like a season ticket for Man U or some such at X amount of hundred pounds and after you have been told in no uncertain terms NO *^@+"*@ WAY then ask for an a cheap HL or some such as it's a lot cheaper and you get to stay at home to work on it. As you may be able to tell I have a clinical streak, but my wife tells me she will soon cure me of it lol. All joking aside I hope you manage to increase your armour collection soon. I'm earning a ton of brownie points by decorating the house and I do lavish plenty of attention on her, She is actually at the cinema right now watching a Chick-flick with a few mates while I've fed the nipper and put her to bed (mind you though I do that almost everynight) If we had the dinig table and chairs I'd be tinkering right now. I'll pick that up from her parents in a few weeks.
I'm not hen pecked, I just like an easy stress free life.
