Sept.16,1940 USA Conscription begins

Seventy years ago today the United States of America, through the passage of the Conscription act began to require men to register for the DRAFT. This is another step for America to become an active military force in the conflict raging in Europe. Some this is further proof that the Government of the USA was preparing for war prior to the Dec.7 1941 attack.
