Hooben , beware!

Post by Rocketman »

hi lads

just thought id post this cautionary tale regarding hooben. Just lashed out on a Hooben perkasa. the model is HUGE, but the quality is diabolicle . The quality is akin to the old Revell kits from the 60's. Some of the parts have so much flash you cant see where the flash starts and the model ends! And sink holes! jesus wept. Dont even get me going on the ejector pin marks!

So, I for one wont be buying a t55, not if the quality I have seen here is anything to go by.

Hi Rocket,

I saw an unbuilt T55 earlier this year and the plastic work didn't look too bad. Not up to Tam standards by any means, but I wouldn't let it put me off.

Sorry to hear about the Perkasa. I was tempted a while ago, but I'm glad I didn't now!

As a matter of interest, did everything arrive or do they still owe you bits?

The biggest question is 'will it float?'
