Doesnt paint come off the tracks?
Doesnt paint come off the tracks?
This has been bugging my brain for a while.... when you've painted the tracks and you run your tank wont the paint come off?
Re: Doesnt paint come off the tracks?
Hi Victor,
Yes it will, but it will wear off on the bits of the tracks that get most wear on a real tank - where the treads contact the ground, where the sprockets engage in the tracks and to a lesser extent where the idlers and roadwheels contact the inside of the tracks.
Assuming the tracks were silver/grey before you painted them, they will start to look as if you have real steel tracks with the bare metal showing through a light coating of rust.
How are you getting on with it?
Peter
