Re: Restoring smoke pulse effect
great little item ,
Re: Restoring smoke pulse effect
looks like you seperated the motor housing from the heating coil... is there a pulsing diaphragm in there?.....
Re: Restoring smoke pulse effect
No . In fact the hole system is made of a H.L. proportional smoke unit ; minus the piston ...
The smoke unit is made of the heat chamber in which I replaced the Nichrome heater element by a 14 Ohms 1 Watt ceramic wirewound resistor ; and the pumping system by a 5 Volts mini-fan ...
The pulse re generator is made of the motor and gear assembly of the same unit with an "expensive" pop bottle and other caps network ....
As you can see ; I take my recycling very seriously ....

There you go ...Here's a couple of self- explanatory pics of my very high-tech re generator...
In fact ; It's so simple and cheap than I wonder why I didn't think of it before .....

Nice bit of ingenuity there, genius! I may give it a go, but gota get the smoker to smoke in the first place...first!

If you plan to use half of the H.L. smoke unit to build a pulse re generator ; you might as well use the other half to make a mini smoker
Here's a few pics to show you how ....
Here's a short video to show the refilling probe ( low level indicator in action)
