I have a small problem, namely how to keep the plastic drive sprocket center bit in place when the tank is driving over open terrain (outside). I had saved all six that came with the FO kit, but already lost two of them, when driving the KT outside.
If I glue them in place, it's impossible to unscrew the drive sprocket, in case it breakes.
I can't use magnets, since the metal drive sprockets are non-magnetic.
So just how do I keep them in place?
Cheers, Jens

Re: Tamiya KT Drive Sprocket Center Bit
hi have you tried double side tape to stick them dave

Re: Tamiya KT Drive Sprocket Center Bit
Plumbers putty, it will keep them on and stay pliable never getting hard. If you need to remove them they will pry off. If thats not available SILLY PUTTY will work as well.

Thanks for the tips, Forgebear and Saxondog! :~
I tried out using two layers of duck tape, and it worked just fine. It's a tight enough fit for them to stay in place, but can still be popped out using a screw driver.
