Hi folks,

Well, the advert doesn't say whether it's Matorro or HL, or about metal hulls or RX18, but the fact it has a Henschel turret and not a Porsche turret means it can't be the HL. Looks like someone is trying to get rid of old Matorro stock which will probably be worthless once the HL version comes out (never thought 5 years ago I'd be writing that about HL!)

Hang on to your money till reliable dealers are stocking them!!

I would hope that H/L learned the lesson with the Jagdpanther and Panther G THAT MOLDED TOOLS SUCK. The loose tools and racks are great. So please H/L ENGINEERS do not use molded tools at all, and please created a true King Tiger with opening hatches, all the hatches. Even a opening rear hatch would be nice. Have I over stated my case? Just hope they create something fresh. Blake

doubtful it has a metal hull(need pics)..... Likely a metal brace for the motors. Nice to have the metal tracks and drive/idlers!
the rest looks the same.

no, its not the new one. its a matorro with the gubbins switched out:
Each product is hand crafted and built by a master modeller with over 40 years of model building experence in museum pieces, diaorama and movie sets.

seriously, how can a company build hundreds(thousands?) of these and with >40 hours 'experience in museum pieces' and anyone make a profit. at least not for 250$AU....Unless using chinese people power assembly line work with 'one' skilled builder overseeing their work.... in which case quality always suffers..

Anyone know if this has the early or late type tracks/drivers??

I have the 18 tooth late drivers and tracks and they work great.

but give it a shot and let me know when it comes!! with many pics please!
