Friend needs Help

Hi Guys

Got a friend round at the mo (know him from 1/10tc) and he likes the idea of a tank after having a play with mine..

He has had a troll through the forum and decided that he wants a new H/L...

Now for the magic question

What H/L tanks have the RX18 and is there a way of telling while the tank is still in the box?

hi. most of the tanks i get from my supplier now have the rx18 fitted so it's probably fairly standard. it's worth checking withe seller as daisycutter says as if they have older stock, they might have the older boards. you can't tell just by looking. however, you can tell by listening. there are two types of sound from the rx18, either the slow machine gun or the 'clunking sound'. of tracks. however it's pot luck what you get as the rx18s are not marked in anyway to show the difference. hope this helps. dave p.s. always worth checking as well whatever you are buying has smoke and sound and metal gears as a minimum.

His main concern is having variable speed,sound/smoke doesnt bother him too much as he hated the sound of my Kv

He is rather set on a T1 but most of the 1s we found on the net are 2 speed...

Can you get a Tiger1 in with an rx18 Dave? if so how much?
